  • 1) Do you speak this language fluently because of your origins or because a teacher inspired you to learn?

My fluency comes primarily from my origins, as the language has been part of my environment since childhood and naturally shaped my thinking and expression. However, true command of the language developed through formal education and the influence of exceptional teachers who refined my understanding of its structure, literature, and expressive depth. In that sense, my roots gave me familiarity, but my learning journey gave me mastery.
  • 2) Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language's culture?

The most emblematic representative is Rabindranath Tagore, whose work defines the intellectual and emotional foundation of the culture. His literature, music, and philosophy elevated the language to global recognition. Complementing him is Kazi Nazrul Islam, whose voice embodies resilience, equality, and fearless expression. Together, they represent both the aesthetic depth and the revolutionary spirit of the language.
  • 3) Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behavior in the language that you particularly like?

A concept I deeply admire is “আড্ডা” (Adda). It is not simply conversation—it is a cultural institution of free-flowing, unstructured dialogue where ideas, humor, philosophy, and emotion coexist naturally. Adda reflects a rare intellectual culture where communication is not goal-driven, but experience-driven. It captures the warmth, curiosity, and social intelligence embedded within the language.
  • 4) Why does speaking this language matter to you?

Speaking this language matters to me because it is inseparable from my identity, thought process, and emotional expression. It allows me to communicate with precision, depth, and cultural authenticity. Beyond personal significance, it carries a vast literary heritage shaped by thinkers like Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam. For me, the language is not only a medium of communication but also a responsibility to preserve and share its richness through teaching.
  • 5) What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?

The main challenge lies in mastering pronunciation nuances and navigating the shift between formal written structures and everyday spoken usage. For many learners, this gap can initially feel significant.

However, the most effective solution is immersive and guided learning—consistent exposure to native speech, structured practice, and contextual usage. When learners are encouraged to use the language actively rather than passively study it, fluency develops naturally and confidently.
  • 6) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.

A defining moment from my school life was when I was asked to read a poem by Rabindranath Tagore aloud. Although I could read it correctly, my teacher stopped me and said, “You are reading the words, not the meaning.” He then explained the emotional depth behind each line and asked me to read it again.

That second attempt transformed the experience entirely. The class response changed, and I realized that language is not mechanical—it is interpretive and emotional. That moment fundamentally shaped my teaching philosophy: fluency is not only accuracy, but expressive understanding.
  • 7) How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?

Travel has given me a deeper awareness of the language as a living, evolving system. Exposure to different regions revealed variations in accent, rhythm, and expressive style, even within the same linguistic framework.

This experience strengthened my adaptability as a speaker and teacher. It taught me that true mastery lies not in uniformity, but in understanding diversity within the language and adjusting communication according to context and audience.
  • 8) What makes you a Superprof in language?

What defines me as a Superprof is my ability to integrate linguistic expertise with a learner-centered teaching approach. I do not treat language as a set of rules alone, but as a living system of communication, culture, and thought.

My methodology focuses on clarity, adaptability, and confidence-building. I tailor lessons to individual learner needs, ensuring steady progress through practical application and meaningful interaction. My objective is not only to teach the language, but to enable learners to think and communicate in it naturally, confidently, and independently.
