I had private one to one tuition with Maria for around 6 months last year.

Maria was my teacher for Spanish GCSE which I took a few years ago as an adult learner, and she was excellent. She was friendly and easy to get along with and put me at my ease. As a native speaker she was exactly what I was looking for and did lessons in Spanish as far as possible, using lots of accessible resources to help me learn about the different topics in the course. She was prompt in marking things and really positive and constructive with her feedback. And in the end I got an A* so it obviously worked :-) I would totally recommend her. María is an outstanding tutor, who makes every lesson enjoyable and engaging. She goes above and beyond, making sure lessons are tailored to your needs, with plenty of resources available. What makes María so good, is that she focuses on speaking and understanding the language, as well as the content needed to achieve the top grades. The most difficult thing with any foreign language is to be able to talk! However much you know you never seem to be able to find the right words. My lessons with Maria have helped me enormously to speak and to understand spoken Spanish.

Lovely lady, Maria helped get me get a 7 in my Spanish in just a couple months when before I was expecting just a pass, and helped me calm my nerves for each exam with feedback during our sessions on how to make the little improvements to bump up my marks

Maria is a great tutor who helped me reach my target grade for my Spanish A Level! Although we did a lot of hard work I thoroughly enjoyed the lessons we had and Maria helped me improve in a lot of areas in particular translation exercises. I would highly recommend Maria as a tutor.
