Acerca de Anamaria
I am a Spanish teacher specialized in Spanish as a Foreign Language, with 19 years of experience helping English-speaking adults and professionals speak Spanish with more confidence, clarity, and accuracy.
My students usually come to me because they do not need random conversation practice. They need structure, useful correction, and clear explanations that help them understand why Spanish works differently from English.
My background includes a Master’s Degree in Training of Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language from the Universitat de Barcelona, specialized training through the Instituto Cervantes, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
What makes my lessons different is the combination of structured speaking practice, personalized feedback, and practical language for real-life situations. My goal is to help you stop translating literally from English and start speaking Spanish in a more natural, confident, and accurate way.

My lessons are designed for English-speaking adults who want structured conversation practice, not random chatting. Each session has a clear topic, a speaking goal, useful vocabulary, guided practice, and personalized correction.
I focus on real-life Spanish for situations related to travel, work, daily life, social conversations, opinions, storytelling, and living or spending time in Lima.
In my classes, you can expect:
