• Do you speak this language fluently because of your origins or because a teacher inspired you to learn?

  Thanks to my origins I can teach you Spanish as it is. I am all the way from Barcelona and I love to share not only how to learn this language but also discover its culture like a local

• Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language's culture?

  If there ever was a patron saint of Barcelona for me it would have been Antoni Gaudí. While most people are familiar with his colourful mosaics, natural elements, and skeleton balconies there is a man behind the surreal buildings (and park) remains relatively mysterious that I will be happy to help you discover

• Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behavior in the language that you particularly like?

  I will love to teach you a tradition that we have for Christmas time related with grapes... I can't say more!

• Why does speaking this language matter to you?

  Spanish is the official languages in more than 20 countries which makes it an incredible opportunity to be able to speak it while travelling!

• What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?

  I will say some people struggle with pronunciation and some grammar structures but I believe with practice anything can be learned.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.

  As a student I have always been curious of students that were from a different origin than mine. There is it where I create my base of respect for other cultures. I might not understand, or share the way we think, but I start any dialogue based on respect.

• How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?

  As I am native I speak it every day but I have learnt so much while travelling in Mexico and how many differences in pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar we do have! I want my students to be competent and able to communicate with someone from Spain, Colombia, Cuba or any other speaking Spanish country.

• What makes you a Superprof in language?

  I am very patient and friendly, I really want my students to feel comfortable and talk to me as I friend. I can assure them they will start practising speaking since day one
