Acerca de Carlos
My name is Carlos. I was born in Venezuela, and currently live in Peru. Being an immigrant I have acquired an affinity for different cultures and that is one of the motivations why I want to work with foreigners teaching my language. I am a qualified journalist with six years of experience. I have a diploma in teaching and a certificate to teach Spanish grammar to foreigners. I am also a freelance writer and columnist. I like traveling, movies and TV series and learning new languages.

I teach you pronunciation to achieve fluency in Spanish and grammatical comprehension so you understand how to formulate sentences and have a logical learning process without getting complicated with technicalities.
In our first class we will introduce ourselves and you will tell me about your goals related to Spanish. We will agree on a study plan according to your available schedule. If you are interested in adapting to an accent, it is necessary that you tell me where in Latin America or Spain you are going, or if you are already there. I will always be asking you what you would like me to bring to the classes to make your learning more enjoyable.
If you are in the beginning levels of Spanish, I can teach you in English. My teaching is very visual so I will provide you with support material so you can practice your Spanish in class.
If you are at a more advanced level in Spanish and are looking for conversational practice, I can be your conversation partner to keep your speaking skills active. We can discuss conversation topics that are related to your studies and work, or simply topics of interest to you.
From the first day you will be able to ask me any questions about writing, reading or pronunciation. I will do everything possible for you to enjoy learning Spanish to the fullest.
