I am a native English speaker born and raised in the United States and currently living in Mexico City. I hold a Master's degree in Communication and Leadership and have spent my career leading teams, mentoring others, and helping people communicate effectively in professional and everyday settings.
My background includes military service, leadership roles in multiple organizations, and business ownership, all of which have reinforced the importance of clear, confident communication. Throughout my career, I have worked with people from diverse backgrounds and understand that everyone learns differently.
Teaching English allows me to combine my passion for communication with my desire to help others achieve their personal, academic, and professional goals. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and helping them gain the confidence to communicate naturally in English.

I became an English tutor because I enjoy helping people build confidence through communication. Throughout my career in leadership, business, and higher education, I have seen how strong communication skills create opportunities, strengthen relationships, and open doors professionally and personally. I want to help my students develop those same skills through practical, real-world English.
My classes are conducted entirely in English, creating an immersive learning environment that helps students improve naturally. While this may seem challenging at first, I adapt my teaching style to each student's level, using clear explanations, examples, repetition, and conversation to ensure they understand and feel comfortable throughout every lesson.
Each lesson is personalized based on your goals. Whether you want to improve conversation, pronunciation, reading comprehension, vocabulary, listening skills, business communication, or prepare for interviews, travel, or daily life, I will create lessons that match your needs and learning pace.
My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, encouragement, and practical application rather than memorization. My goal is to help students communicate with confidence using authentic American English.
My classes are ideal for teenagers, university students, professionals, business leaders, travelers, and anyone who wants to improve their English in a supportive, engaging, and professional environment. Students of all levels are welcome, from beginners who are ready to challenge themselves to advanced learners looking to refine their fluency and pronunciation.
