Yes, I look Spanish but I was born and grew up in Sydney, Australia. Australians speak British English 99% of the time, the 1% is reserved for zucchinies (courgettes) and eggplants (aubergines).
In 2023, after many years of living abroad, I decided to move to Spain permanently. I love living in the Ribera del Duero wine region not only because of the beautiful Tempranillo wines but also because of the food, countryside and ambience.
Shortly after moving here, I adopted my best buddie, Mate. Mate is a playful English Pointer who is very sociable. So I speak English, Spanish, some French and some dog(?).

I LOVE TO TRAVEL! Travelling has taught me the importance of communication and patience. Yes, grammar is essential; however, even more important is being able to exchange cultures, perspectives and experiences. The fun begins when we let go of our inhibitions and allow ourselves to make mistakes. Let’s have fun applying English orally.
My goal in teaching English has always been to give my students the confidence to speak in English, whether it’s selling wine, applying for ERASMUS in one’s chosen field, attending a conference or travelling abroad.
I have experience teaching English at language schools, in primary and high school and one-to-one from introductory to proficiency level.
We will work together to apply grammar and comprehension to relatable scenarios, giving you the confidence to speak, speak, speak!

Especificaciones
The first session is free. This is where we will introduce ourselves, agree on your language goals and how you would like to apply your English skills in your everyday life. With this information I will customise your classes to suit your level and interests.
60-minute sessions:
The first 15 minutes is dedicated to a problem, real-life example, question or general discussion to get help switch the brain to English - bring a coffee, cup of tea or other refreshment. The following 45-minute session is where we will really get into the details of English.
All classes are online sessions.
Group sessions:
Group sessions can be organised, provided that the level of each participant is similar and language goal is the same. This is because lessons will be customised for the group, not each individual participant. Group sessions will be limited to four participants.
I do not assign homework. Each lesson is dedicated to interactive learning.
