I can provide clear examples of where a design pattern is used and why it makes sense to use a particular design pattern.
My typical lesson plan would have
1. The core concept for the lesson
2. The real world problem or examples
3. Solving the problem through clear design
4. Focusing on key programming techniques in a given language, what work and what would not.
5. Do it your self, example code to go through the lessons.
6. Recap and conclusion.
I have a masters degree in Software Engineering and can teach students till degree level.
