Recommendation for Ms. Isadora Espinoza for the Superprof Community

It is with great pleasure that I am writing to recommend Ms. Isadora Espinoza for the Superprof Community. I have known Ms. Espinoza for almost 20 years now. I first met her when I was working as the World Bank’s Country Manager in Ecuador, during 2000-2004—at the time, she was working as Logistics Supervisor for the Charles Darwin Foundation—and I have had countless opportunities to engage with her both in person and remotely over the years since then.

Ms. Espinoza brings a range of skills and qualifications to her work. First, she has a certification in teaching English as a Foreign Language, which not only attests to her bilingual English-Spanish skills and underpins her experience in working and translating across the two languages, but also complements her significant experience in training and teaching throughout her career. This experience ranges across such diverse areas as sports education, nutrition and English, as well as sensitive areas such as sex education and drug prevention.

In addition, Ms. Espinoza has certifications in project management and in non-profit management, both of which have served her well in her career in various positions in which she has had to exercise leadership, represent organizations, ensure timely delivery and quality standards, and create a culture of accountability. Examples of areas in which she has had to apply these technical skills and qualifications include her work with the Charles Darwin Foundation, where for example I saw her organizing and speaking at large events for the general public; Operation Hope, Liceo Los Álamos, where I personally witnessed her teaching and engaging with youths in a focused way on tough issues.

Ms. Espinoza’s professional skills and qualifications are complemented by significant personal talents and it is indeed these that I would like to highlight. Ms. Espinoza is highly responsible and reliable, organized and focused on delivering the promised products. She brings a combination of energy in ensuring delivery with calm and serenity in the process. Indeed, I have witnessed her working with a serene and supportive demeanor even under significant time pressure and still ensuring quality delivery. She is confident and able to command attention in delivering messages, and at the same time is an attentive listener, a keen learner and is open to suggestions. All of this speaks to the emotional intelligence, warmth and good-heartedness that characterizes her and all of her work.

Bottom line, in light of Ms. Espinoza’s highly relevant technical skills, her personal talents and her positive, committed and warm nature, I believe she would be a tremendous asset to the Superprof Community and am delighted to recommend her for it.

Isadora is a person with a high organizational capacity, sensitive as a human being, open to new ways of learning and teaching. Her idea of teaching is to focus on the person rather than on knowledge, generating confidence in the student and allowing him to grow and develop. She encourages her students to improve and arouses their curiosity to learn. Her students love her for her humanity and leadership. Her knowledge of Yoga, Mindfulness, and Health help to provide greater quality to each of her classes. She is recommended in those areas of personal and social development, or in areas where personalized contact is necessary.

I attended a course that Isadora taught in the winter of 2020 from which was very grateful for the teachings I received. Her classes are quite dynamic and participatory. She has good knowledge and command of the language.

Isadora taught my daughter. She was always very kind and knows how to challenge her to reach her goals. With her support she could approve her school course without any problem.
