Acerca de Richard
I have been teaching English in Spain for over five years, helping students and professionals develop the confidence and communication skills they need to use English effectively in their personal, academic and professional lives.
I also have a degree in Environmental Earth Sciences, and I have always had a passion for science and scientific research. Teaching English has given me the opportunity to combine these two interests and create a specialised approach to Scientific English.
I believe that effective communication is a key part of driving scientific research forward. Great research can have a much greater impact when scientists are able to communicate their ideas clearly, whether they are writing a research paper, presenting at an international conference, applying for funding or collaborating with researchers from around the world.
My aim is to help scientists and researchers communicate their work clearly, confidently and effectively in English. By combining my experience as an English teacher with my scientific background, I can help students develop not only their general English skills, but also the specialised vocabulary, writing techniques and communication strategies they need in the scientific world.
For me, Scientific English is about more than learning another language. It is about giving researchers the tools to share their ideas, connect with the international scientific community and make their work understood.
