Why I Love Teaching Spanish
Teaching has been my passion since I was a child. I was inspired by wonderful teachers who made learning enjoyable, and from an early age I knew I wanted to become a teacher.
Although I have spent many years teaching English, I also love teaching my native language, Spanish, to English speakers. Helping my students communicate confidently in Spanish is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
As a native Peruvian speaker, I enjoy sharing not only the language but also the richness of Peruvian and Latin American culture. I believe that learning a language is much more than memorizing grammar—it's about connecting with people, traditions, and new ways of seeing the world.
My greatest satisfaction is watching my students grow. Seeing them become more fluent, express themselves with confidence, and enjoy speaking Spanish motivates me every day. My goal is to create a friendly, encouraging environment where every student feels comfortable making progress and discovering the joy of speaking Spanish.
