Chinese lessons with Christine leave me breathless each time! She is an amazing teacher with wonderful enthusiasm, a wealth of cross-cultural experience, and a great understanding for the student's needs. The lessons are all the more interesting and enjoyable because both of us share a lot in common. Moreover, in each conversation, she treats me as an equal and doesn't show the slightest contempt for my poor language skills. Her patience is admirable and unlike what some teachers might do, she doesn't complete sentences for you. This forces me to dig deep and with time, I'm certain I'll achieve the fluency I desire. I cannot ask for a better teacher, who in spite of her linguistic credentials, remains truly humble and respectful.

To all: I'm thrilled and satisfied by having chosen Christine as my teacher. In short, next to offering positive and challenging lessons, which I love, Christine is super literate and friendly while explaining all topics very clearly. With Christine help, I’ve finally managed to overcome my fear of communicating with native speakers, which was my main goal! I'm happy with the results and feel like making tremendous progress. What's more, not only is Christine more than an average teacher, she's a real professional with lots of experience, very motivating and inspiring - my eyes have opened to how someone should teach Christine! I cannot say enough good things about Christiane. She conducts her Chinese conversation classes in a manner that removes any fear or intimidation about speaking in Chinese. As a result, the student eagerly looks forward to speaking Chinese during class. This is very important for improving one's conversational skills. I would recommend Christiane to anyone who is serious about improving their ability to communicate effectively in Chinese.

I'm only 10 weeks into working with Christiane but I couldn't be happier with a tutor. As an educator myself, I'm not used to being a student, but Christiane is really great and patient and works at my pace. She also pushes me each week to learn more. I have a goal to be fully conversational in Spanish by June and after 10 lessons, I'm sure I'll achieve that goal. Christiane is a very good and fun tutor.
